Lincoln City have signed former Swindon Town central defender Patrick Kanyuka on a free transfer.
The 23-year-old Congolese, who has also had spells with QPR and Northampton, has agreed a contract until the end of the season.
Kanyuka has been playing in Romania and the Imps are waiting for international clearance before he can play.
Manager Steve Tilson told the club website: "I'm hoping it will happen in the next week. It's out of our hands."
