diameter 1.5 - 2.5 cm, brown outside with violet shades inside.
Spores 15.9-17.1 x 8.1-9.65 µ
Ascus 280.9-306.47 x 13.33-14.4 µ

IKI reaction WT, we think?
Spores in cotton blue- lactic acid: warts, we don't know the types?
We think Peziza celtica will fit or are there other options?
Thanks in advance, Margot
please compare your find with Peziza michelii.
A good time
Ursula

To assess spore ornaments you need experience and a suitable microscope and a good camera.
I am attaching some details of Peziza michelii for comparison.
A good time

Definitely P. michelli.
This species is quite variable but the features of your collection fit this species. Morphological features are also consistent.
For me, this species is very common.
I have only a few collections on my website but you can compare. Some are very similar to yours.

As far as spores ornamentation is concerned, is there an overview of the different forms and is this different for each genus?
This key also shows drawn spore ornaments:

In order to get a brief overview of spore ornaments of the genus Peziza, I am attaching photos of 22 Peziza species.

Ornamentation in combination with the spore size and shape are never the same. There are also the macroscopic features!
A good time

Thanks again for all the information.
What I meant is a coding of trace ornamentation such as with the ascus tops in Melzers/IKI: WTR, WT and W.
Ornamentation occurs in spores: warts, ridges, network, when is it a network, when a ridge, we don't know how to call what we see, what gradations there are.
Kind regards, Margot
About the spore ornamentation, no codification exists to describe it because there is a lot of possible combinations. The best thing to do is to describe it.
