Myrciaria pilosa

Fruits are spherical (ca. 2 cm in diameter), with a smooth skin and intensely ruby-red inside. The taste is sweet and pleasant, very popular in its region of origin (Ceará). The plant is a small tree (ca. 1.5-2.0 m) under growing conditions. Uses: Much appreciated in its natural form, or in the form of juices, as its productivity is enormous. It makes the birds happy too. Due to its small size, it can be grown in pots.
