Subject: Some sort of malware

It worked but it recently started changing some of my cursor icons (loading). I did a virus scan using MalwareBytes and it flagged Gamemaker 8.1. As soon as I deleted it, my cursor went back to normal. Wouldn't trust this.

Subject: Even the upgrader works

This is beautyful! I think this is the best version of game maker. Even the upgrader works! Just try to run game maker, and then run the upgrader.

I don't think that's the default location. Isn't it supposed to be in Program Files?
Pretty sure the upgrader isn't busted, maybe it's on your end.

If it is installed. install it to the DEFAULT location.."

It is installed on the default location:
"C:\Users\[USERNAME]\GameMaker 8.1\"

The upgrader is busted

Where should I install Game Maker 8.1 for the Upgrader to work? I installed in "C:\Users\[MyUserName]\GameMaker 8.1\" (the default location to me) and it couldn't find the installation.

I'm using Windows 10.

people keep complaining that this is only the lite version, completely ignoring the patch tool https://archive.org/download/GameMaker81/Gm8.1Upgrader.exe it's right here and on the page. install Game Maker 8.1 then run this.. Boom! now you have standard version. Please stop lying and saying it's ONLY the lite version
