Description

The Incredible Machine is a puzzle game where the player has to assemble a Rube Goldberg-type contraption to solve a simple puzzle.

The game consists of a series of puzzles, each having a simple objective, such as "put the baseball into the basket" or "turn on the fan". To achieve this, the player is given a number of parts such as: balls, girders, rope, balloons, seesaws, cats or monkeys, and his job is to arrange and connect them on the playfield, so that, upon clicking the "start puzzle" button, the whole contraption activates and achieves the objective.

For added difficulty, some puzzles have different gravity or air pressure from that of Earth.

There is also a freeform mode where the player is given an unlimited number of parts to construct a machine of his own invention. The machines created this way can be saved to disk.

Subject: ABSOLUTLY TERRIBLE

I hate this game so much. The colors are so ugly and the yellow looks like dried Velveeta cheese that has been in the back of my refrigerator for 6 and a half years. This game makes me want to go to therapy. It has given me crippling depression and crippling anxiety and PTSD when I see that yellow. I hate this game so much. I hate it more than mushrooms and I HATE mushrooms. Please take this down bc only cooper and jake like it bc they are special. TAKE THIS DOWN.

Ook ik heb dit spel gespeeld als klein mannetje, godmiljar wat waren dat mooie tijden!

Heb gelukkig nog een "nieuwe" oude PC staan met win95 erop, effe al die ouwe spellen opnieuw spelen, even terug naar die tijd!

Subject: Interesting and very funny

This game made me like to use the computer back in the 90's. It was so much fun to try to understand how I could pop the ballon or make Bob the Fish swim. I was 7 years old, didn't understand english but loved this game. To be honest, to find this game now, 23 years later, made me a little emotional, but really happy! :,)
