Zofia Stryjeńska, 1891-1976. Born Zofia Lubańska, was known as the Princess of Polish Painting. She was a painter, graphic, illustrator, and scenographer in the art déco style. Along with Tamara Łempicka she was the most famous Polish female artist in the interwar period. See also Dances and Slavic Gods.

Zdjęcie zatytułowane “Zofia Stryjeńska as a Student in Munich Academy” jest najwyraźniej opisane fałszywie. Pokazuje zwykłą modelkę w szkole malarstwa (otoczona studentami), a nie Stryjenską. Proszę to sprostować.

Nie ma co prostować. Modelka to modelka, a Stryjeńska jest jednym ze studentów.

Na zdjęciu jest tylko jedna naga kobieta, a reszta to ubrani mężczyźni. Pochwała patriarchalizmu. Zresztą, może i pozowała do aktów, bo trzeba było opłacić te studia.

Proszę Pana, Stryjeńska studiowała w męskim przebraniu. Kobiet nie przyjmowano.
