This 1984 UAZ 469 was acquired out of Russia by the seller last year and imported to the US in December 2020. Finished in olive drab green over a black interior, the truck is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission and twin-stick two-speed transfer case. Features include a removable black soft top, a rear pintle hitch, front spotlight, mudguards, and steel wheels. Work performed prior to importation reportedly included a tune up, a coolant flush, fluid changes, and replacement of the battery and rear driver-side brake shoes. This UAZ is being offered with import documents and a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name.

The truck is said to have been repainted its current shade of olive drab green with black bumpers some time in 2019, and exterior features include a removable black soft top, a front spotlight, rear pintle hitch, fold-down windshield, and mudguards. Flaws noted by the seller include rust and dents throughout the body, exposed mounting holes for equipment, and a bend and scratches on the front bumper.

Black-finished 15” steel wheels are mounted with older tires that show signs of cracking in the sidewalls. The truck is said to ride higher than stock on a reinforced suspension, and a full-size spare is mounted to the swing-out rear tire carrier. The rear driver-side brake shoes were reportedly replaced in 2020.

The cabin features removable metal-frame seats trimmed in black vinyl, and the truck is equipped with a heater. The seller notes that the horn is inoperable, and interior flaws consist of tears on the driver’s seat, scratches in the rear cargo area and on the backs of the rear seats, and evidence of wear throughout the cabin.

A three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a body-colored metal dashboard housing a 120-km/h speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows just over 70 kilometers (~40 miles), all of which have been added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The 2.5-liter inline-four features a single carburetor and sends power to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a twin-stick dual-range transfer case. Maintenance in 2020 reportedly included a carburetor adjustment and cleaning, a coolant flush, tune up, fluid changes, and a replacement battery. Corrosion on various components in the engine bay is noted by the seller, who also reports that the engine has difficulty re-starting when warm.
