This 2006 Ford Mustang GT was modified by Shelby American with their CS8 kit, which included a Paxton Supercharger fitted to its 4.6-liter V8, unique bodywork, 20″ wheels, upgraded braking and suspension components, a side-exit exhaust system, and special badging. The car is finished in metallic blue with silver stripes over beige leather, and equipped with a five-speed manual transmission, a limited-slip differential, air conditioning, and a Shaker 1000 sound system. This Shelby CS8 was acquired by the selling dealer in June 2020 and is now offered with a Shelby Certificate of Authenticity, period magazines, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Massachusetts title.

The car is finished in Vista Blue Metallic (G9) with silver stripes and features unique Shelby bodywork, trim, graphics, and badging as well as a side-exit exhaust system that terminates ahead of both rear wheels. Paintwork and exterior trim are shown in detail in the photo gallery below.

The 20″ Shelby-branded wheels were produced by American Racing and are mounted with 255/35 Kumho Ecsta SPT tires at all four corners. The CS8 package included a lowered suspension and upgraded brakes.

The cabin features bolstered seats upholstered in beige leather with tan carpeting that is protected by black floor mats with Carrol Shelby scripts. Amenities include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, air conditioning, and a factory Shaker 1000 sound system with a six-disc CD changer and trunk-mounted subwoofers. Receipts show that the driver and passenger airbag assemblies were replaced under factory recall campaigns.

A three-spoke steering wheel with a Shelby CS8 badge sits ahead of a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The odometer indicates just under 36k miles.

The CS8 package included an intercooled Paxton Supercharger to increase output from the factory 4.6-liter modular V8 to 470 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. An oil and filter change was performed by the selling dealer in preparation for the sale.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a solid rear axle with a limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.

The July 2020 Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists emissions testing, registration, and service history in South Carolina, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Florida.
