Stained Glass I

$465.00

The art of stained glass has dazzled viewers for over a thousand years, contributing to some of the most stunning architectural displays in the world. In this 8-week class, the technique, history, and the practicality of stained glass will be discussed as students learn and create two projects, approximately 8”x 10”, learning both the copper foil and leaded channel methods.

Through discussion, demonstrations, and hand-on experience, students learn to cut patterns and glass, assemble, solder, and patina their windows.  Simple designs, and a wide variety of colored glass are included, along with the use of tools and supplies for each project.

All materials are included. No prerequisite.
