Scindapsus Pictus Argyraeus 'Satin Pothos'

$24.99
4'' Nursery Pot

The Scindapsus Pictus 'Argyraeus' is a relative newcomer to nurseries and is growing in popularity due to it's unique foliage and relative ease of care. 'Argyraeus' is recognized by small, heart-shaped leaves that are dark-green in color and spotted with silvery gray variegation, giving them a satin sheen. The leaves are velvety to the touch and satin in texture.  Although they can tolerate low light conditions, this plant thrives in indirect bright to medium light.  Eventually, its vines grow long, making Scinapsus a great choice for hanging baskets.

Ed's Care Guide

  • Humidity: 60-80%
  • Temperature: 60-85F. Avoid cold drafts
  • Pruning: Prune as needed to remove brown or dead leaves
  • Feeding:  Fertilize monthly during spring and summer with water-soluble fertilizer diluted by half.
  • Propagation: Stem Cuttings
  • Growth: Trails to 3 ft or more
  • Common PestsMostly resilient to pests
