An IMSI Catcher operates by tricking mobile devices into connecting to it instead of the legitimate cell tower. The device acts as a fake cell tower and emits stronger signals than real towers nearby, causing mobile devices to connect to it automatically and spy on them.
Once a mobile device connects to IMSI Catcher, it can intercept and record the device’s communication information. This includes data such as phone calls, text messages, location, and other information transmitted over the phone network. They can spy on all the information on the phone, listen to all the calls and read your movements without you noticing.
