The "Motivation" singer and former Destiny's Child member abruptly left the set of Today With Hoda & Jenna over an issue with her dressing room Thursday, when she was supposed to fill in for Jenna Bush Hager as a guest host, EW has learned. The walkout came after Rowland appeared as a guest on the Today show in its 8 a.m. hour, and fellow singer Rita Ora ultimately stepped in to replace her as guest host. A representative for Today declined to comment on the matter, and a rep for Rowland didn't immediately respond to EW's request for comment. Kelly Rowland. Cindy Ord/Getty A source told PEOPLE that "Kelly walked out because she and her team didn't like her dressing room," and Ora then "agreed to fill in at the last minute." According to Page Six, which first reported the news, Rowland asked about using a green room upstairs because she was unhappy with the one she was in, but it was being used by Jennifer Lopez, who was on hand to promote her new album, This Is Me… Now, and film, The Greatest Love Story Never Told. The report says Rowland was then offered several other options, but she opted to leave instead. Rowland was on Today to promote her new movie Mea Culpa, a legal thriller she stars in and produced. The film hits Netflix Feb. 23. Ora, meanwhile, recently joined The Masked Singer as a panelist on season 11.
