The PM-98 is intended for close-quarters combat. It features a telescopic three-position stock and a duplicated fire mode selector for both right- and left-handed shooters. The magazine release, which can also be configured for left-handed users, is protected by a cover to prevent accidental magazine ejection. The gun's front sight with a circular guard allows for rapid target acquisition. The pistol is equipped with a Picatinny rail cover according to MIL-STD 1913, enabling the attachment of various optoelectronic sights. The pistol grip allows for the installation of a laser target designator or a halogen flashlight. It includes a socket for attaching pressure switches.
