Messi swaps iPhone for Xiaomi - Chinese company sponsors Argentina football team

Following their victory at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Argentina have been awarded another "trophy". The Chinese company Xiaomi has become the official sponsor of the team.

The partnership was announced on the official page of the Argentine National Football Team on the Chinese social network Weibo. Details of the agreement have not yet been specified.

Two months ago, it was revealed that Lionel Messi had ordered 35 gold iPhone 14 Pro smartphones, plated in 24-carat gold, for his teammates and staff members. The cost was £175,000 ($210,00). It looks like the national team leader should now consider buying an Xiaomi 13 Ultra.
