We had a fantastic time at Zamek in Ryn. The old manor house turned hotel has a captivating castle theme, complete with suits of armor, exposed brick, and even cannons. The daytime entertainment, including period performers and horses, added to the...

It's not the first time we've stayed at this hotel (in the castle). Everything is at the highest level. We are a family with a 6-year-old child, we come by car. Everything is always very nice. Lived in different rooms (knight's wing, prison wing...

We really liked it! The atmosphere in the rooms and corridors is very interesting, everything is lined with carpets, you can't hear the steps in the corridors, and the medieval music plays quietly! The beds are wide and comfortable, the...

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at Zamek. The breakfast buffet was excellent and offered a wide variety of options. The hotel's central location made it convenient for exploring the surrounding area. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel is excellent. The fact that a Polish businessman revived the historic castle of the Teutonic people almost from ruins deserves respect. Rooms I would give solid ** but no more (clean, warm, but poor). The breakfast menu is quite varied.
First of all, hotel staff is not motivated at all when communicating with guests. We were very late and tried to warn about it by phone, we managed to call only after 2 hours and then not at the reception, in the spa. we arrived, we were told nothing about the hotel's facilities, neither about the SPA, about the pool, about the excursions. They politely gave us the key to the room and that was it. Even about the time and place of breakfast we had to ask again. interior of the castle is only impressive at first glance, at a closer look you can see that this is a novelty. Savings on decor are also acutely felt. but, an interesting idea reproduction of an ancient canvas above the bed, but, panorama, do not save on printing pixelization spoils everything. Strongly surprised by the lever faucet in the shower, blocks the water in the "to yourself" position. Also, owners have spared money on tiles, so the roof of the patio tin and looks miserable. Now for the refectory. idea is very interesting, in these interiors cheap leather sofas, modern chairs and tables look miserable.

Creative hotel. Good breakfast. There are good rooms.
The hotel has an incomprehensible pricing policy. Last year we paid 460 PLN for a room per night, which is quite a lot for Poland in general, and hotels in a small village in particular. The room was spacious with a good view. That's why we decided to come again. This year we were given room 302 for the same 460 PLN (about 108 EUR per night). Its size is slightly larger than the bed. There was also a desk with one chair. The TV is on the nightstand on the left, close to the bed. It's not clear how the two of us can watch it. If it's from a chair to a desk, it's alone. If he's lying on the bed, he should be lying on his side. And the distance to the screen is a little over a meter. But the most important thing is the view from the window. Right from the window sill begins the sloping roof over the central hall. So the view from the window in this room for 108 euros is a close roof. And if you really want to climb out of the window, you can see the sky. After my request, we changed the original room to room 502. It's located above room 302. The roof above the hall was below us and you could see the surrounding area. The room for the night of August 10-11, 2018 was booked in advance - May 6.

The location of the hotel was great, with easy access to nearby towns and attractions. The hotel offered a variety of activities for both kids and couples, making it suitable for everyone. I appreciated that the hotel was dog-friendly, allowing us to bring our furry friend along for the trip.
Our room was very small and lacked a window to the outside, leading to poor ventilation. The room was also not cleaned properly, and we had to endure the noise from the evening presentations in the inside yard.

Beautifully decorated.
Very noisy (Many events are held in the courtyard). Many people during breakfast (can't get everything you want).

On the plus side, a really good breakfast.
hotel deserves a maximum of 3*, not a 4*. scarce menu in the restaurant. We chose a junior suite with an extra single bed, it turned out that the bed linen for this bed is still +100 zlутки. Paid Parking 20zl day - for this money you could at least clear the parking lot of snow! In the hotel itself there are only a couple of walls left from the castle all the rest is plaster painted or renovated! My advice is if you are not going to spend all the time in the pool and spa! then take a room in one of the neighboring hotels - there and menu is better and cheaper.

Unique castle atmosphere, great location by the Masurian Lake District, convenient parking. Medieval dining hall with a nice breakfast atmosphere. Day spa with catalogs in English & reasonable prices.
Can honestly say - nothing not to like.

Really liked the lady at front desk at check in when we arrived on June 24 around 7:00 pm . She was so nice and gave great information.we had dinner shortly after our arrival, the gal that seated us certainly wasn't friendly but she found us a very nice waitress! The room was very clean and upon calling the super nice lady at the front desk she had a fan sent up due to the heat!
Bowling and swimming close at 10:00 on Fridays ... No screen on Windows in rooms , lots of moths... No air conditioning! Very hot in room The staff that we had encountered other than the lady we checked in with , the waitress we had and the maid that brought us a fan, were rude! The morning we checked out the new lady at front desk was especially rude when asked about lake activities.

Love the décor and the artifacts on display in the castle - the entrance sets you up for a great experience and the rest of the interior delivers. The swimming pool area is amazing - great job fitting it into the existing structure.
No climate control in the rooms - with temperatures over 30C it was difficult to sleep. I expected higher quality beds given the style and price of the hotel.
