Tailored Precision: Customizing the Suzuki GSX-R1000 for Ultimate Performance
TECHNICAL GARAGE RUN's GSX-R1000
The Suzuki GSX-R1000 is a custom build by TECHNICAL GARAGE RUN based on the L2 (2012) model. It features a matte black body with accent colors visible in various parts. The presence of Ohlins shocks, Brembo + SUNSTAR brakes, and MARCHESINI wheels indicates that this is a complete custom "Version Up Complete". The owner of the bike is an extremely fast rider, and there were instances when he felt that the bike's stock condition wouldn't be sufficient, prompting him to decide on upgrading the bike. This is the reason why these specific parts and brands have been used for each part of the bike.
The brand to be used will inevitably depend on how the owner uses the bike, what capabilities should be added, and what kind of package should be chosen. Instead of focusing solely on numbers, the rider's subjective experience, such as the feeling of operation and maneuverability, is highly valued. This L2 model is customized to order after carefully assessing the desired direction in which to enhance the bike's performance according to the owner's preferences. The "Version Up Complete" package is designed to provide overall satisfaction, security, and peace of mind in this regard.
Handle
The steering stem is replaced with TG-RUN's original machined aluminum, and the step, seat, and other control system parts are matched to create solid operability.
The handlebar is stock, the front master cylinder is Brembo Racing with a forged body, and the left and right levers have been replaced with ZETA flight levers.
Bodyworks
The seat is a TG-RUN Sport & Comfort seat for improved comfort and maneuverability. The single seat cover is an OEM for GSX-R1000. Also the fender has been eliminated.
The riding step kit, which provides simple but reliable operability and rigidity feedback to the rider, is a TG-RUN original.
Intake & Exhaust
The 999cc liquid-cooled straight-4 engine and aluminum twin-spar frame are stock for the GSX-R1000 L2, and core guards were added to each of the upper and lower two-stage radiators. These modifications were also made to accommodate the use of the engine. The exhaust system is a Yoshimura Full Titanium Exhaust R-11.
Chassis
The front forks are Ohlins upside down fork FGRT205 and the front/rear fenders are Magical Racing Carbon. The front brakes have Brembo P430/34 radial calipers + SUNSTAR WORKS-EXPAND discs. Beta Titanium 64 titanium bolts are used for each part.
The rear brakes are Brembo CNCP234 calipers set with TG-RUN original supports and SUNSTAR WORKS-EXPAND discs.
The swingarm is a stock L2 with Yoshimura links, and the rear shocks are Ohlins TTX. Wheels are MARCHESINI forged aluminum M7RS.
