File Description: This is a repaint for the payware A2A Simulations AT-6 Texan. This is an updated standalone version of my repaint of the restored AT-6C/Harvard Mk.IIa VH-NZH, painted in the WWII trainer markings of Pensacola NAS, circa 1941. This updated version includes new cockpit texture modifications matching the real aircraft, including WWII-period and re-faced modern gauges (to look WWII-correct, just as done in various restorations today), grey-primer cockpit, and black canopy framing, as well as a number of improvements/corrections to the main exterior texture files. The previous version of this repaint is not required.

File Description: This is a repaint for the payware A2A Simulations AT-6 Texan. This repaint depicts AT-6C/Harvard Mk.IIa VH-NZH, owned/operated by Judy Pay, based at Tyabb Airfield in Australia. This aircraft originated as part of the USAAF contract for AT-6C's and was initially assigned the USAAF serial no. 41-33767, but was completed to a British order as Harvard Mk.IIa EX794. The aircraft was then passed to the Royal New Zealand Air Force, arriving in New Zealand in July 1943, and assigned the RNZAF serial NZ1051. The aircraft remained in the possession of the RNZAF until 1978, but was retired/put into storage as of 1962. The aircraft was acquired in 1978 by a Mr. Nortier of Auckland, NZ, who housed the aircraft until Judy Pay (one of the longtime leading lights of the Australian warbird movement) acquired it in 2001. The aircraft first took the skies again in 2004, following restoration, and is finished in the markings of a 1941-era Pensacola-based SNJ-3.

File Description: This is a repaint for the payware A2A Simulations AT-6 Texan. This repaint depicts the restored SNJ-5 BuNo. 85061, registered as G-CHIA, based at White Waltham airfield in the UK. This aircraft originally served in the US Navy from 1945 until 1954, at which time it was one of 12 SNJ's loaned to the then newly formed Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force. In 1977, the aircraft was returned to the US Navy and it was subsequently sold into the civilian market, becoming N9012Y in early 1979. By 1984 the aircraft was restored, painted in the markings of an early 1950's Oakland NAS based SNJ. After changing hands/locations a couple of times while still in the US, first to Corvallis, OR in 1997, and then later to Skagit Regional Airport north of Seattle in 2001, the aircraft was sold to the UK-based The Warplane Flying Co., first flying from Duxford, England in November 2012.

File Description: This is a repaint for the payware A2A Simulations AT-6 Texan. This repaint depicts the restored Noorduyn-built Harvard Mk.IIb registered as D-FRCP. An earlier, pre-2010 depiction of this aircraft is included in the A2A product, and this repaint depicts the aircraft as it now appears following an extensive 3-4 year restoration by MeierMotors, completed in 2014. This particular aircraft was assigned to the RCAF during WWII, as FS728, and was later sold to the Netherlands AF in 1947 where it was coded B-104. The aircraft was first sold into the civilian market in 1970, becoming PH-SKL in the Netherlands, and would later be sold to Britain as G-BAFM, then to Switzerland as HB-RCP, and finally to Germany in 2001, becoming D-FRCP. Following its recent restoration, the aircraft is finished in overall polished metal with basic RAF trainer markings.

File Description: This is a repaint for the payware A2A Simulations AT-6 Texan. This repaint depicts the restored AT-6G N29931, owned by Bruce Olson and based at Flying Cloud airport, just outside Minneapolis, MN. As long as the weather cooperates, Olson typically flies this aircraft every week, from April to fall, and averages about 140 flying hours a year - as a member of the T-6 Thunder North American Flight Team, most of that flying time is in formation. This particular aircraft, AT-6G 49-3449, served in the Spanish AF from the 1950's up until the early 80's, coded 442-49, before being imported back into the US in 1982.
