This was our second visit to Heide Park. There were plenty of rides to keep my children busy. We actually spent two days there, which was nice as it was plenty.
The roller coasters were fun and there was a good variety of types and scariness.
There were plenty of eating places and prices were reasonable. They ranged from about 7 Euros and up for a meal.
We purchased a Merlin Entertainment year long pass there for only 69 Euros. This seems like a steal to me. We spent two days here and two days in Legoland, as part of our vacation.
I'd definitely recommend Heide Park for your children who are about ages 10 and up. Many of the rides require you to be 120 or 130 cm. My 11 year old was able to go on almost everything. They didn't ask if he was 12. I guess, he looks it, and by some standards, he might be considered 12 since he will be 12 this year.
Overall, I highly recommend this place. The workers were nice. It wasn't too crowded. We went on everything as often as wanted to.
This park is very nice. I wish they had a bit more variety in their souvenir shop, however.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (Deezo…)Hamburg, Germany3719959Jun 6, 2010
Heide park is less than an hour from Hamburg, and it's one huge amusement park.
Entry costs 35EUR, but they have special prices for kids under 12 and seniors above 60. Groups of 20 and above get also special prices.
We were 7 adults, and spent the entire day.
there wasn't 1 minute of boredom.
There is a variety of rides, and the waiting lines weren't that bad. it was a sunday, probably the hottest sunday of the year (around 26C) and still, the longest waiting line was about 20 minutes. Otherwise we only needed to stand 10 minutes in line.
there is a number of roller coasters, one that has loops, one that doesnt, fast, high low, hanging feet, hanging upside down, pirates ships, free drop, and water bahns...
One advice would be to buy the 5EUR pepsi 0.6ml container and keep on filling (if u drink a lot of pepsi that it), since refill costs only 2 EUR (for 0.6ml) while a normal pepsi in a paper cup (0.3 L) would cost 2.50EUR.
Parking costs 4 EUR
Food prices are average, a Pommes tüte 3EUR, curry wurst 3EUR.
The park itself is really big, and quite nice. a lot of greenery, and lakes.
Big fun for the entire family, and for groups of friends, ages 1 to 111 :)Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rachel Z.Latrobe, PA1332Jul 1, 2020
Really fun park. We have season passes and have been twice. Compliant with masks regulations and they enforce them. Definitely would recommend

Man I didn't even know I could do a review on this place! Went here while I was in college and they had this awesome tall wooden roller coaster. The place wasn't even really that busy and that made it even more fun. Place is big and green and alot of fun. One of my best memories of being in Germany.
