Jamba

Talk about a flashback in time. I haven't had Jamba Juice since the late 90s or early 00s but when my boyfriend mentioned he wanted a smoothie while we were walking around the mall, I knew just where to take him. This specific Jamba Juice is located inside Polaris Fashion Place mall on the second floor. It looks very bright, clean, and corporate-like. It is a giant nationwide chain and you can tell.

Their menu includes smoothies of all kinds, juices, juice shots, bowls, and small bites. It only took me a second to decide on the Blue Vanilla Sky, plant based smoothie and my boyfriend ordered the white gummi off of their "Classics" menu. His smoothie was very sweet, almost too tart for me but he really enjoyed it. Mine on the other hand, was exactly what I was hoping for. Not too sweet at all. It was a blend of almond milk, vanilla coconut milk, banana, pineapple, and spirulina, which is super good for you. It boosts your immune system, has protein and is totally plant-based (it's actually algae). That's what makes it turn blue. Anyhoo, it was delicious and I enjoyed every bit of it.

If I find myself needing a boost next time I'm at Polaris, I'll totally consider coming here for a healthier option.

I love healthier options at a mall, and this is one you can enjoy while walking around and people watching.

I really like that they have super-sweet sherbet-added smoothies but also their "plant-based" line which are less sweet and all fruit-based.

Some really great flavor options, tons of fresh fruit and a few vegetarian food items. Jamba is a win for me!

Razzamataz - so happy there is a Jamba Juice in Columbus! It's about time. Service was fast, the store was clean and the smoothies are amazing as always. Thrilled!!!

We visited Jamba at Polaris on Tuesday evening. The store was really clean and the employees were very kind! They seem to be adjusting to the new store and learning the register, menu, etc. Usually, we only have Jamba when we are in Hawaii visiting my family so needless to say, we were super excited that a Jamba opened in Columbus because the closest we knew of was Chicago! Unfortunately, this location does not have Gotta Guava (THE best) but had the standard flavors like White Gummi, Mango-a-go-go, etc. The employees were super kind and even put my medium drink in a large with the extras (typically they make more than the size you order)! She even apologized for the mess it made when putting on the lid - I didn't mind! Anyway, if you're looking for a tasty treat, head over. This isn't the super healthy smoothie place like SK or others like it. It's more of a fruity, sherbet, icy drink.

So they seem to have improved staffing and service at this location after a bumpy start. Their smoothies are excellent. But corporate customer service is terrible, as is their app and loyalty program. Promo codes don't work, you can't save a Jamba gift card as a payment method in the app, e-mail customer service is unhelpful and they're unreachable by phone. The hassle will dissuade me from going there more often.
