Building a spot welder from a battery charger

Josh at imsolidstate came across an extra battery charger, so he decided to turn it into a spot welder. We’ve seen spot welder projects in the past, however his goes the extra mile, adding a digital control circuit and current monitoring capabilities, to give precise control over the welding operation.
