IMAGINE A WORLD IN PEACE is a series of painted fiberglass revolvers. The revolver has inspired famous artists and role models in sports, film, music and art, but also children from different parts of the world. The revolver with a knot, Non Violence, was created by Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd as a tribute and memorial after John Lennon was murdered in New York in 1980. A large Non Violence revolver was placed outside the United Nations building in New York in 1988 as a symbol of peace as is one of the most famous pieces of art in the world. The Non Violence Project works to inspire, motivate and engage young people in positive thinking and action to teach them to understand and resolve conflicts without violence.

The work is part of Galleri Melefors' 10-year anniversary. It can be viewed on display at restaurant Torn1 in Linköping.

The calendar is filled with exciting exhibitions and is continuously updated. In Linköping there is approximately one exhibition a month, alternatively we participate in various fairs.
