Why Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke skipped his wedding

Hulk Hogan’s daughter, Brooke Hogan, has broken her silence about her mysterious absence at his and Sky Daily’s wedding, which took place in Florida on Friday.

In a Instagram post, Brooke explained that she has distanced herself from her family as she navigates “difficult” changes in her life.

“As many of you know, I value my privacy, but unfortunately, a lot of media outlets are making assumptions as to why I did not attend my father’s third wedding,” Brooke wrote in a lengthy note posted Monday. “Instead of leaving it to speculation, I decided it’s better to shut it all down here.

“As we all experience this with our own families, the dynamics of a family unit continuously change over the years. With that being said, my family has experienced a LOT of change.

“With all of it happening in the public eye, I’ve had to learn how to best navigate those changes as they come, which has been difficult to say the least.”

Brooke explained that she is prioritizing her well-being.

“For my own journey to healing and happiness, I have chosen to create some distance between myself and my family, and am focusing on people and things that heal my heart and align with my own personal beliefs, goals, and values,” Brooke said.

“I wish him well,” the former reality star concluded, referring to her wrestling legend father.

Hogan, 70, tied the knot with his 45-year-old fiancée Sky Daily at the Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Clearwater, Fla., in front of their closest family and friends, according to TMZ.

Hogan’s son, Nick, and Daily’s three children were all present at the nuptials, TMZ reported, adding that Brooke “couldn’t make it on such short notice.”

The newlyweds’ wedding rings were reportedly valued at $500,000.

It marked the third wedding for the WWE Hall of Famer, whose real name is Terry Gene Bollea.

Hogan announced his and Daily’s engagement in July while at a friend’s wedding in Tampa — three days after he proposed.

They had been dating for more than a year when Hogan popped the question.
