Cents symbol on Galaxy S8

Hi Folks!

A simple question/answer (I hope).

How do I make the 'cents' symbol on my S8 phone? I thought holding down the dollar sign ($) was the way ... but it doesn't work.

I think Samsung Keyboard has no cents symbol. Try use Google Keyboard. Should be under 123 button, and you should find cents symbol there.

I don't see a 123 button. I'm referring to a Galaxy S8 Smartphone, not a tablet.

Download Gboard from playstore.

Click ?123 button on bottom left corner.
Long press on $. Then you will get ¢ symbol.

Google keyboard. Press the ? 123 key, then on the new layout press the =\< key. You'll get the layout with the cents symbol.

I have an s20 and when I long press the dollar sign, the cent symbol is not there
