Chenowth Desert Patrol Vehicle

The Desert Patrol Vehicle (DPV), formerly called the Fast Attack Vehicle (FAV), is a high-speed, lightly armored sandrail-like vehicle first used in combat during the Gulf War in 1991.

Due to their dash speed and off-road mobility, the DPVs were used extensively during Operation: Desert Storm.

The Desert Patrol Vehicle is a variant of the Fast Attack Vehicle, which was developed during the 1980s that has seen extensive use by the US Navy SEALs with similiar vehicles being fielded by the US Marine Corps.

The mod features two skins: Black and Desert

Pros:
  • Incredibly fast, nimble and relatively quiet
  • Side storage with generous storage space
  • Resilient fuel tank
Cons:
  • Exposed to the elements
  • Prone to threats due to openness
  • Getting overconfident with the speed will get you killed

Desert Patrol Vehicles will spawn rarely in Military zones, farms, and occasionally junkyards and traffic jams.

Future plans:
  • Introduce vehicle attachments + reanimate seated characters.
  • Consider adding an M2HB and M240 at a time when there is better vehicle weapon support.

I found the car and it's great... but I can't change some parts, especially the muffle. I just can't get it out, I have the tools and I want the character to stay.

As much as I want to love this, the vehicle is simply way too massive and way too fast compared to most other in-game vehicles. :/

Nothing have changed force mod update. Your mod download is probably corrupted.

Its related to game, when vehicles dont have windows zombies start acting weird, I couldn't fix it back then and support is still bad on vehicles so until game gets better handling on vehicles it will be like that sadly.

@Tommy,

Just a heads up I noticed that I kinda done lazy work when I was working on it, it doesn't have any space to add armor models to mesh so I have to redo half of the mod and that takes some time, I'm hoping to add armor to it but its going to take more time than I expected.

Hello. In my single player game, the car does not break from zombie strikes. Is this a bug or is it supposed to be like this?
