Crysis Remastered announced for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch
It seems like the Twitter handle for Crytek and Electronic Arts’ sci-fi action role playing game Crysis woke up from its three year slumber for a very solid reason. A remastered version of the first game in the Crysis series--Crysis-- is coming to PC and consoles (including Nintendo Switch for the first time) as Crysis Remastered. That’s what the third tweet from Crysis Twitter account says.

There has been no confirmation of the release date of the first-person-shooter, but as per the Crysis website, the game is “coming soon”.
Before the latest tweet, there were two other tweets, one of which clearly hinted at a Crysis game featuring Nomad, the protagonist of the first game as it just said, ““Hey Nomad, you're still with us?”. It could either have been a Crysis game with a new storyline featuring Nomad or a remastered version of the first title. It turned out to be the latter.
Built on the CryEngine, Crysis Remastered is a graphics overhaul of the first game with features like ray tracing and improved visuals. Crysis in itself is a game with clear and beautifully rendered environments. A remastered version of that game is only expected to blow the players away with stunning visuals. Seems like PC gamers would seriously need to consider the best gaming build for their systems, and have to go for some of the best graphics cards available right now to run Crysis Remastered at a more-than-just-satisfactory level.
