Taj Mahal

This is one of the most recognised landmarks in the world. The famous and iconic Taj Mahal is the pride and joy of not only Agra, but India’s as well. This architectural masterpiece was built by the Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. This white marble mausoleum is a sight to behold.

Agra Fort

Also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and just a short distance away from the Taj Mahal, the Agra Fort is a massive red sandstone fort where the Mughal emperors once lived. The fort is a part of the Taj Mahal itinerary in most cases. It features Jahangiri Mahal, Khas Mahal, Diwan-i-Khas, and Diwan-i-Aam and more.

Fatehpur Sikri
