Selena Gomez is finally leaving her house. Following four seasons of her pandemic-born HBO Max show "Selena + Chef," shot entirely in her own kitchen, the "Only Murders in the Building" star will join chefs in their own environment, rather than over Zoom, for the debut of her new series "Selena + Restaurant" May 2. The show will premiere with two back-to-back episodes at 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. ET on Food Network and be available for streaming on Max....

In August, Gomez’s latest track, “Single Soon,” ruled Billboard’s Hot Trending Songs chart even before its release. She’s also been expanding her vegan makeup brand, Rare Beauty, with a percentage of sales donated to her Rare Impact Fund, which supports youth mental health. Its inaugural benefit reeled in $15,000 for Taylor Swift tickets en route to Gomez’s goal of $100 million. A true multihyphenate, she continues to star in and executive produce the multi-Emmy-nominated Hulu mystery comedy “Only Murders in the Building” with Martin Short and Steve Martin, now in Season 3, which gets a broadcast run in January. She’s also hosting two series for the Food Network, including the holiday special “Selena + Chef,” where renowned cooks visit to create their favorite meals. Still, her own mental health remains paramount, as she told her 430 million Instagram followers in October that she’s on a social media break due to the “horror, hate, violence and terror … in the world.”
