The innovative PSU swing-arm enables a variety of benefits like tool-less graphics, a compact chassis size and a locking "stop-anywhere" mechanism.

ENHANCED ACCESSIBILITY

Thoughtfully engineered for enhanced usability. With an easy-access side entry panel and conveniently placed ports, including three USB 3.1 Gen 1 (Type A) ports, a USB 3.1 Gen 1 (Type-C) port, plus a headset and mic plug-in all located in the front of the system, its built for easy flexibility.

NEW ALIENWARE COMMAND CENTER

OPTIMAL OVERCLOCKING

ENHANCED ALIENFX

The latest AlienFX hardware and software supports full RGB values with up to 16.8 million colors.

Easily manage your FX lighting zones, edit peripheral settings and save new themes you can then assign for each game.

THERMAL CONTROL

You can probably build a better system yourself for the same money, if you are willing to buy components separately and assemble the PC your self. Admittedly, doing so is half the fun. But if you are like me, and you are hoping for a system that will just work, looks great and can tackle pretty much any game you could do much worse than this computer.

I personally have always wanted to buy an Alienware and never did because I could not afford it. This is my first Alienware buy and I am not disappointed. It has run pretty much every game I have thrown at it, and crushed the benchmarks I have tried, but I have not tried many. It is silent, relatively, looks good and just works. Wish it had USB-C video output but that is a very small nit.

The system does not come with an 850 watt p/s and liquid cooling as the product bullets state. Very disappointing, you would think Amazon could do a better job verifying product specs especially when the specs are listed on the box. The product does not deserve a low rating, it's not Dell's fault. I returned the computer and I purchased another Aurora R9 at a local retailer. I even got a better deal. I paid an additional $50 and got 512GB PCIe and a 2080 RTX super. The new computer is air cooled but a corsair H60 will drop right in.

I just bought this machine and I play one game on it: World of Warcraft. Seconds into starting the game and the fans spins up like a harrier chopper and sounds as if it's about to take off. I really didn't expect that from a gaming pedigree like Alienware to be perfectly honest. It's disappointing because I expected a gaming rig to take a game that isn't that intensive, unlike an FPS, completely in stride and not go nuclear with internal cooling issues. Also, the machine has locked up randomly twice in as many days where I've had to reboot unexpectedly; not sure if it's related to heating or not. Again, did not see that coming with a brand new Alienware / Dell machine like this. Reboots fixed the issue and admittedly they're few and far between now but just be aware that there's likely a cooling issue with this model and it doesn't take much to surface it in my experience.

Great PC, fast and works great. Problem I got though, was that the psu, or power supply causes black screens, idk if the company gave a fault power supply product or what not, but I’m getting a lot of black screens :/. Might need the psu to be replaced. Had to call Alienware, so they get the psu and you fixed at the repair shop. Beware of black screen. I don’t know if Alienware gives old or faulty components, but be careful when you buy prebuilt PCs from them.

I opended the box, set up the pc as the manual instructed, and started downloading the basics for 1 hour, while I was setting up these new files it asked for an update and restart and then when I went to turn it back on there was no signal to my monitor, I was on the phone with Dell supported for an hour (troubleshooting) and they said that the device was under Amazon's ownership so I couldn't send it in for them to look at on the product warranty.

The fun little decorative light stopped working about a week into owning it. It's much louder than my old PC, other than that it does what it's designed to do. So... good...

Fast forward not even a year later... thing beeps whenever I turn it on. Shuts off. Have had to call support MANY times. Tried to upgrade components but the motherboard is a real Cee U Next Tuesday, and it rejects any ram upgrades I try to do. I called Dell, again, MANY times regarding this and they have never been able to help me other than suggest I order a new computer... again.. at a "discount" from them. Hard pass.

Going with another build, custom this time, not prefab. With the cost of chips now a days, I really feel let down by Dell in general. So angry right now.
