    I was browsing for a fun digital camera for weeks! I searched high and low, visited many different stores, browsed online. You name it, I did it. Finally I came across this nifty touchscreen camera. It came in four different colors, and seemed pretty durable. I read the reviews and I second-guessed myself from purchasing it. Half the reviews were really good and half were really bad. So I decided to go against the bad reviews and try it out for myself. The camera is so easy to use. The touchscreen (which is plastic) is great. It doesnt leave behind finger prints or anything! And there's no glare which is nice. People complained how cheap that is... but it makes the camera nice, and light-weight! Anyhow, next complaint was POOR picture quality. All you need to do is change the ISO and ta-da, no more grainy pics. The features are endless on it! You can totally edit your pics right on the camera, add cute little frames and stamps and even doodle on pics. Its a lot of fun! And a heck of a lot cheaper than other touchscreen cameras I came across. Read the manual, and once you know how this cool camera works, I promise, you will be SO happy with it. If anyone has any questions or concerns, I would be delighted to help!

    This is a great little camera with a whole host of presets that allow you to take pictures in almost any setting, at the touch of the screen. Picture quality is great, 3x zoom is better than any the previous digital cameras i've owned and, given its diversity, it's good value for money.

    The touchscreen was one of the main reasons I bought this particular camera and although it did seem gimmicky at first, I soon found it a joy to operate. It takes a little while to get used to navigating through the touchscreen options, particularly if you're the owner of an IPod touch or IPhone. The camera doesn't operate in the same manner as those devices, but quick read through the manual and a bit of trial and error and it soon becomes second nature.

    If you're interested in purchasing a good quality, reasonably priced, fun digital camera then this is definately worth a look!

    I was really excited about getting this camera when I ordered it. I had seen the commercials with Ashton Kutcher swiping his finger across the screen to sift through his photos. I had read Nikon's sales pitch describing the user's ability to write on the pictures with the included stylus. I had watched the demonstrations on-line showing how the camera knows whether or not someone is smiling or blinking. And being a big technology guy, this was all very cool stuff.

    Unfortunately, Ashton Kutcher lied to me! Well, maybe not really. But this camera is terrible! The pictures it takes are grainy, fuzzy, blurry and almost never in focus. The 3" LCD screen is made of plastic and feels VERY cheap. The images on it are far from crystal clear- Hey Nikon, Apple knew enough to ditch the plastic screen on its iPhone before it was released, you should do the same with this thing!

    I also had issues with the smile mode and blink proof functions, which is to say they didn't work. In fact, the camera almost never recognized where the subject's face was in the photo.

    Believe me when I say I spent hours reading through the manual and adjusting the settings on the camera in an effort to improve the picture quality. Alas, the problem was with the device and not the user.

    In the end, I sent the Nikon back and instead purchased a Samsung SL620. I'll let you know how it is once I've used it a bit - it just arrived today. But do yourself a favor and steer clear of this one, it's hopeless!
