1. The return window for my filter is said to be closed.
2. I Just this evening had good astrophotography conditions AND opportunity to fit it to my field flattener and set my scope outside to cool.
The threads do not fit. I can screw it on to my Hotech FF about 1/4 turn, and that's it. After that it jams. I did a search on Cloudy Nights and discovered that others have had this issue as well. Apparently a problem with the thread spec. My Baader filters screw on just fine, but the Orion does not. Will it fall off in the winter cold? I have no idea and I don't want to deal with it - there's no mystery about thread specs and if Orion picks a 2" thread spec that is proprietary, they should say so up front. Unacceptable.
What makes this worse is that the Skyglow filter has a very good reputation for handling light pollution and preserving colors. So it might perform well tonight, providing it doesn't fall off, jam further as it cools, or wreck the threads on my Hotech.

Update 2018-12-27 Received replacement filter from Orion. Will be checking later, in the meantime, bumping up to 5 stars for service and working.

Update 2019-12-21 Replacement filter, during a recent cold spell with lovely clear nights did the same thing. Anyone know where you can get a METAL retaining ring for locking this thing down?
