He loves all skill-related challenges, and broke his back doing a backflip on a snowboard requiring him to focus on hobbies with less risk of a repeat injury. His parents were both entrepreneurs, and he knew he wanted to find something he was passionate about and start his own business. The Sweets bamboo boost kendama comes in natural smooth unfinish bamboo. The first thing you will notice when picking up this kendama is how light it feels compared to traditional wood kendamas. This bamboo ken and tama weighs 62.5g & 63.7g and is lighter than my Sweets Natty boost beech wood ken and tama at 68.7g & 74.1g. It is much lighter than my Sweets boost beech ken and tie-die sticky painted tama at 71.6g & 83.3g.

The base cup is drilled out for balance. The tama has a tracking ring on top. The lines on the tama are thin rings cut into the bamboo. Box comes with stickers and extra string.

Appreciate the crisp sharp sounds of this bamboo kendama and the hardness of the bamboo.
