Amy Smart is a successful film and television actress best known for her roles in the hit CBS series MacGyver, Showtime’s Shameless, The Butterfly Effect, and Just Friends. She is currently starring in the DC series StarGirl, which was just picked up for its third season. Outside of her acting career, Smart has been involved with a variety of philanthropic organizations, environmental advocacy groups and has a passion for cooking and sustainability. Passionate of all things green, Amy is also the co-founder of her eco-friendly home brand Smarthouse Collections she started with her husband, home expert and TV personality Carter Oosterhouse. The two have a daughter, Flora (age 2) and reside in Los Angeles, CA.
