In November 1912, the detachment, which included Vladimir Dimitrov-Maystora, entered Thessaloniki and Seres under the command of Gen. Georgi Todorov - the general who had a leading role in the history of Bulgarian military affairs and who is the brother of academician Alexander Teodorov-Balan. On November 20, a truce was concluded, which allowed the soldiers, including the Master, to rest from the stormy days that had passed: It is precisely this calmness that will be reflected in the Master's drawings from this period of time - his working life, rest, immersed in tense anticipation of the unknown to come”.
