After postponing a few of their recent shows in order for Hayley Williams to recover from a lung infection, Paramore has announced that unfortunately the rest of their tour will be cut short.

The shows in question, set for Portland and Salt Lake City had originally been postponed, however as Hayley shared, they’ve been officially canceled altogether.
After taking a week’s rest, Paramore took the stage in Seattle, however as the lead singer shared in an IG story immediately after the show, she will need a bit more time to recover. As Hayley expressed, after having the tough conversation with her team and doctor, they came to the conclusion that “trying to finish this tour,” would “come at a detriment to my health.”
“My lungs are just not healing quickly enough to keep up,” Hayley continued. Noting, “It got a little scary tonight,” during their set in Seattle.
After saying an official announcement about the canceled last two shows would be sent out “ASAP” Williams continued, addressing the fans that were slated to see her next. “I know some of you are camping in Portland already so I just wanted to get this out there. I’m so sorry for all the chaos this has caused some of you. I really tried to kick this s***. Love you all.”
The official statement arrived seven hours later and the band’s official Instagram. In it Williams elaborated further on her “struggling through the last few shows,” and that despite “hoping a week off and strict medicine” would allow her to healthily return to the stage, the singer admitted “I physically can not go on.”
After noting that “refunds will be available at the point of purchase,” Hayley apologized to her fans for any inconveniences and thanked them for their continued support.
