Attention fishing enthusiasts: Bass club kicks off

AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- Learning Italy's fishing laws, finding that fishing hotspot or just looking to buy the latest tackle, Team Aviano Bass Busters can cast you in the right direction.

Team Aviano Bass Busters is composed of military, DoD civilians and local nationals in Northern, Italy. They fish the waters in the Veneto Region for the illustrious Black Bass, commonly known as the Largemouth bass.

Team Aviano is a competitive fishing club in which cash prizes are awarded to the top weights of the day, but the primary emphasis is in enjoying the camaraderie of fellow fisherman and outdoor enthusiasts on Italian waters.

If interested in joining Team Aviano, come out to the next membership drive at 7:30 p.m. Feb 14 at the Western House restaurant across from the Gray Mall in Aviano. For more information, email nathandoza@hotmail.com.
