The flowers of this unusual variety have dark centres that make them very special - when walking around the supplier's trial grounds on first seeing these blooms, the universal reaction was “wasps”! With their concentric rings of black and bright yellow, a colour scheme identical to that preferred by that universally disliked insect (but actually quite a useful beast in the garden), this reaction was quite inescapable. It transforms an already fine variety into something quite exceptional. (And it won't sting!) 1½ft (50cm)

These remarkable and attractive flowers with their large, papery everlasting flowers are excellent for cutting, fresh or dried, lasting for ages in a vase.

Very nice flowers, mine on quite long stems. Stunning pure white with contrast from the yellow and black centres. Will definitely be growing these again.

    Wasps??

Lovely little plants. Flowers cut well and dry too. However, they do not remind me of wasps, a valued insect. Very good germination and easy to grow making bushy plants with no need to pinch them out when small. Will definitely be growing them again.
