A Cartersville woman was sentenced at Bartow County Superior Court to 30 years on Dec. 12 for involuntary manslaughter and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
Cheyenne Denise Snopek, 31, will spend the first eight years in confinement and the remainder of that time, she will serve on probation. She will receive credit for time served in custody from Dec. 31 of last year to her sentencing date of Dec. 12.
βOn behalf of the people of the state of Georgia, the undersigned, as prosecuting attorney for the county and state aforesaid, does herby charge and accuse Cheyenne Denise Snopek with the offense of involuntary manslaughter, for that the said accused in the county of Bartow and state of Georgia, on or about the 31st day of December, 2022 while in the commission of an unlawful act, did cause the death of Tiffany Gail Kimbrell, a human being, without the intention to do so,β according to court documents.
Snopek is ordered to pay $3,000 in restitution through the Department of Community Supervision for the benefit of the victims β Kimbrell, Eva Chance, Kaitlyn Smith and Pamela Smith.
