What’s your daily beauty routine?

I cleanse morning and evening with Eve Lom Cleanser and also use her muslin cloths to exfoliate. Then I use Rodial Glamoxy Snake Serum which tightens up my skin and provides a lovely base for foundation. I don’t use body moisturiser as I slather on Johnson’s Baby Oil in the shower. It keeps my skin silky and smooth all day long – it’s amazing.

Your desert-island beauty essential?

Dainty Doll Wonderbalm from my own range – it’s a brilliant multitasker. I use it on my eyelashes, eyebrows and lips – anywhere that needs a bit of nourishment as it’s full of vitamins A and E.

Your make-up bag staples?

Dainty Doll Loose Mineral Powder Foundation, Hot Pour Concealer and Lipstick in Couture. The range is for pale skin like mine so it’s all I use. The lipstick is really, really dark, almost a blood red – it’s sophisticated but with a rocky edge.

Gwen Stefani

'My beauty icon? I love Gwen Stefani's look and she's always immaculate'

Vivienne Westwood

'I like feminine designers such as Moschino and Vivienne Westwood (pictued)'

What makes you feel glamorous?

If I’m going out I slather Benefit’s Bathina body balm on my legs and shoulders. It gives them a gorgeous, glamorous glow.

Do you have beauty treatments?

I have very sensitive skin and every time I have a facial it makes it worse, so I tend to avoid them. I love massages from Venus Inspired (venusinspired.co.uk), though. The holistic massage is just amazing – I completely switch off and relax. It almost puts me into a trance. I also have to have my nails done or I feel like a boy! I tend to colour my hair myself with an at-home Wella dye. It allows me to control how red my hair is.

What would we find in your fridge?

Lots and lots of blueberries. I’m completely addicted to them – I go through cartons and cartons every day. Blueberries aside, I’m devoted to Marks & Spencer – as long as my fridge is stocked with an assortment of its delicious food, such as chicken and ready meals, then I’m happy!

Topshop

'I love Topshop - it has designer styling at high-street prices'

What are your indulgences?

Anything chocolaty!

How do you stay in shape?

I was saying to Cheryl (Cole) and Kimberley (Walsh) the other day that I haven’t exercised in about a year – I’m terrible. I have a treadmill in the house but I never use it. My only real exercise is walking the dogs!

Your feel-good philosophy?

Have a good sense of perspective and be able to snap yourself out of bad moods, as we often wind ourselves up about the silliest things.
