This design explains the acronym “FLINTA*”. The first letter of each word is written boldly and colored in the pride flag of the corresponding identity or movement. The words are framed in a black square with a gray shadow and everything is printed on a white background.

The sticker explains a term the German feminists have coined to describe everybody who is not a cis man. This term is “FLINTA*” and stands for Frauen, Lesben, Intergeschlechtlich, Nichtbinär, Transgender, Agender, so in English: Women, Lesbians, Intersex, Nonbinary, Transgender, Agender. This word sums up all the people who experience structural patriarchal violence. The asterisk at the end leaves room for more additions or for people who do not specifically identify with one of the named terms but feel comfortable describing themselves as part of the bigger group.

Displaying this sticker is an easy way to educate yourself or others on this term, or simply brush up on your pride flag knowledge.

This design is part of my collection for March 8th, the international day of feminist fight. The purpose of this collection is to fight for the equality, autonomy and liberation of everybody who is not a cis man. The focus of intersectional feminism for this day does not only lie on cis women but also on people who are transgender nonbinary, intersex, agender, or any other gender aside from cis men ( - Even though we will embrace anybody as an ally for this movement).

The sticker is a rectangle in DIN A7 format (7,4 x 10,5 cm) and printed on 90 μm adhesive vinyl.
