Shane Byrne made it two wins out of two as he snatched victory from Josh Brookes at Snetterton in Round 5 of the British Superbikes Championship.
The BeWiser Ducati rider slipped to third in Race 2 after an average start before James Ellison crashed out in second, and he overtook Josh Brookes late on.
The win marked a dominant weekend for the 40-year-old who is bidding to win a second straight title.
The double victory pushes Byrne into second place in the standings, sandwiched between Kawasaki title rivals Leon Haslam and Luke Mossey.
Shakey strikes in Race 1
Byrne had already won Race 1 after another bad start. He slipped back to fourth but slowly worked his way back to the front to take a comfortable win.
The five-time champion passed early leader Ellison, who later retired with an electrical issue, on lap 5 and never looked in danger from there on.
Brookes came second with Jason O'Halloran third and Leon Haslam fourth. He and Kawasaki team-mate Luke Mossey, who was forced out after three laps with a breaks problem.
