Torino have confirmed the signature of Maxi Lopez, and the striker is in the squad to play Lazio tomorrow night. The move had been widely expected, with a deal now confirmed on the club’s official website.
“Torino Football Club is delighted to announce it has acquired outright the signature of Maxi Lopez from AC Chievo Verona.”
The Granata are the Argentinian striker’s fifth club, having also plied his trade for Catania, Milan, Sampdoria and Chievo.
Meanwhile, Toro Coach Giampiero Venture has announced his squad for tomorrow’s Coppa Italia tie at Lazio.
Lopez is included in the party, and will take the number 11 shirt for Toro.
