The Thermalright HR-02 Macho Rev B is the logical further development of the predecessor model. It has a significantly enlarged, nickel-plated and highly polished base measuring 53 x 40 mm.
With this detail, the cooling capacity of the cooler could be considerably increased once again and the performance advantage over competing models could be further increased. Another innovation of the HR-02 Macho Rev B concerns the supplied fan. The cooler is supplied as standard with the temperature-controlled TY 147 A (PWM) fan. With a speed of 300 to 1,300 rpm (+/- 15%), the TY 147 A is even quieter than its predecessor. Thus the HR-02 Macho Rev B is practically imperceptible from the outside in normal operation. The special design of the aluminium fins of the heat sink also ensures particularly low air resistance. The oval air duct in the middle of the cooler ensures controlled air turbulence within the heat sink, which means that the waste heat can be dissipated even more effectively.
