Vassri

The Brader family from Memmingen/Bavaria is a permanent institution in Brown Swiss-breeding because they already bred famous bulls like HURAY and VANPARI, which had a huge influence on the breed like only few others. An already a bit older genomic bull from this farm, but still one of the highest BS-bulls available, is the VASSLI-son VASSRI (dam’s father VANPARI). He promises a very high milk performance (+1.219 kg) with a good fitness and a functional type without extremes. On top of that, he improves the milking speed, udder health, fertility and milking temperament in your herd. The enormous performance is deeply anchored in VASSRI’s cow family: his dam Riki gave 12,065 kg of milk with 4.64% fat and 4.05% protein on an average of 4.9 years. This cow line goes back to a founder cow with a lifetime production of over 140,000 kg milk.

VASSRI is suitable for heifers, has an aAa-code of 561423 and is homozygous for the desired casein-variants BB/A2A2.
