Brown Swiss

Progeny inspection tour - cow families

Sevilla, Veles, Andaman

The cow family of SEVILLA (Seasidebloom x Cadi x Himalaya) can only impress every fan of the Brown Swiss breed. His dam, grand dam and great-grand dam are still in the breeder’s bard and present themselves with an outstanding type: big-framed, dark cows, strong, but very elegant, youthful and harmonic, very good feet & legs and long, well textured udders. If you value deep and proven cow families, you should keep this bull in mind. He will be available from October 2020.

Also one of the currently most interesting polled bulls, VELES Pp (Vidal PS x Vobis x Jupaz), descends from a long-living cow family. Grand dam Monice, a Jupaz-daughter, is still fit and producing in her 8th lactation. VELES Pp’s dam is an enormously performing cow (1st lactation of 12.296 kg milk, 3,96 % fat, 3,38% protein) with a well attached udder and she’s looking great despite the high performance.

The dam of ANDAMAN (Antonov x Dane x Huray) is also very impressive. The big-framed bull dam captivates with enormous body length, rump depth and open ribs. Her udder is very long and well textured with ideally placed teats and a very good central ligament.
