Charlize Theron was a vision in a silk gown at this year's 96th Academy Awards, which took place on 10 March at the Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles.
Always one to bring elegance to the red carpet, Charlize looked ethereal in her gown, a stunning, silk number by Dior Haute Couture. Sporting a statement asymmetric neckline paired with a classic maxi skirt, the 48-year-old actress dazzled in her dress. She accessorised with a silver bangle, two necklaces and earrings, all by Boucheron, to complete her look.
Needless to say, Charlize sported a beauty look that perfectly complemented her stunning gown. She wore her signature, blonde hair in an on-trend slicked back look and her makeup consisted of a smokey eye, pop of coral blush and a coral/pink lip.
Choosing to wear silk made for a stand-out look on the red carpet, with sequins and black gowns dominating this year's Oscars ceremony. Charlize was also spotted throughout the evening posing with a whole host of famous faces. As she took part in presenting the award for Best Actress (which was won by Emma Stone for her role as Bella Baxter in Poor Things) Charlize was seen alongside a group of iconic actresses, including Sally Field, Jessica Lange, Jennifer Lawrence and Michelle Yeoh.
The 96th Academy Awards took place on Sunday, 10 March at Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles, California. Oppenheimer was the biggest winner of the evening with seven awards, including best picture and best actor for Cillian Murphy.
