According to a report from Portuguese media outlet Record, Felipe Anderson could be forced to return to West Ham in January if Porto complete the signing of Hulk from Shanghai SIPG.

The Hammers signed the 27-year-old winger from Lazio in the summer of 2018 for an initial £36 million (Football.London).
Despite enjoying an impressive debut campaign with West Ham, Anderson has struggled over the past 18 months.
The Brazilian seemed to be completely disinterested last season, and his confidence was clearly on the floor.
Anderson racked up only one goal and five assists in 27 games for the Hammers last season (Transfermarkt).
The former Lazio man began this season in poor form and was swiftly loaned out to Porto for the 2020/21 campaign.
Anderson continues to struggle in Portugal
The 27-year-old has played just 49 minutes for the Portuguese club so far, however. And he has been completely omitted from Porto’s squad for the last few games.
It now seems as though the winger could be set for an early return to West Ham. That’s if Porto bring Hulk back to the club from China in January, according to Record.
David Moyes is clearly not a big fan of Anderson. The pacy winger has a lot of talent. That goes without saying. He must improve his work-rate and team ethic, however, if he is to have any kind of future at the London Stadium.
Who knows what might happen. If Anderson returns to West Ham reinvigorated and ready to play, he could make a big difference for us in the second half of the season.
It’s all down to the South American. His future is in his own hands. Only time will tell whether he has the mental and physical fortitude to succeed in the Premier League, however.
