The former Portsmouth star has found himself playing in the DR Congo.

It is now seven years since Portsmouth full-back Anthony Vanden Borre was involved in one of the greatest Soccer Saturday moments of all time. Sent off v Blackburn Rovers in a bore 0-0 draw at Fratton Park, his red card was so inconsequential that Chris Kamara did not even notice.
With that anniversary in mind, what has happened to the former Portsmouth star?
The name was already well-known for many fans of Football Manager, as Vanden Borre was tipped for future stardom from an early age at Anderlecht.
But his loan spell at Portsmouth, which saw him play 25 times and score once as Pompey were relegated from the Premier League, came after struggling for football in Italy.
Since then he has spent time with Genk and back at Anderlecht before time on loan at Montpellier for the first half of this season.
Aged 29, he shocked many by retiring in January.
But last month he popped up, at Democratic Republic of Congo side TP Mazembe. Vanden Borre, whose mother is Congolese, joined the five-time CAF Champions League winners last month and this week finally got his international clearance to begin his African adventure.

A lot has happened in the seven years since his infamous TV moment, with Portsmouth now playing in League Two.
But not many would have predicted Vanden Borre to be playing in DR Congo when KAmmy missed his sending off on the 3rd April 2010.
