The Canaries have a daunting task ahead of them as the Premier League champions visit Carrow Road at the weekend.
Norwich City goalkeeper Tim Krul has taken to Twitter to bang the drum ahead of the Canaries welcoming Premier League powerhouses Manchester City to Carrow Road at the weekend.
Daniel Farke’s charges are still finding their feet in the top flight after winning promotion from the Championship, although they have had to deal with some tricky opening fixtures.
Liverpool away, Chelsea at home and West Ham away saw Norwich fall to defeat, although they showed their quality in the triumph over Newcastle United at Carrow Road.
The Canaries now have to contend with arguably one of the best English teams of all time and, though it seems a daunting task, their keeper is certainly not showing any nerves.
Here is what Krul wrote on Twitter:
A number of Norwich fans took the time to respond, praising the 31-year-old’s optimism and jokingly warning him he could have quite a busy shift on Saturday:
Krul has been impressive for the Canaries since his free transfer to Carrow Road from Brighton in 2018, making 50 appearances for the East Anglians, and is now valued at £2.7million by Transfermarkt.
Norwich’s recent head-to-head record against Man City is decent, with one Canaries win over the Etihad side, two goalless draws, and a narrow 2-1 loss from their last five encounters (official Premier League website).
