Kelly Rowland has put a wedding ring on it.
The former Destiny’s Child singer quietly married her manager and boyfriend Tim Witherspoon over the weekend, sources confirm to Billboard/The Hollywood Reporter.
The 33-year-old’s big day was May 9 in Costa Rica, with Beyonce and her sister Solange Knowles among the guests.
Us broke the story, quoting an unnamed source who described the event as “a quick, simple ceremony — only around 30 people.”

On the same day, Beyonce shared a snap on Instagram in what appeared to be a bridesmaid’s dress and the simple caption “Good morning” (just hours earlier, she’d apparently shared an eventful ride in an elevator with her husband and her sister).

Rowland was previously engaged to football player Roy Williams. They ended their relationship in January 2005, two months before their planned wedding.
She used the platform of The Queen Latifah Show last December to announce her engagement to Witherspoon. “He put a ring on it,” she said at the time, adding: “It’s been a while. We’ve kept it very, very low — for years, to be completely honest.”

It’s a particularly busy time for Rowland. Almost a year after the release of her album Talk a Good Game, she’s back in the studio working on her follow-up LP, Billboard.com reports. Pharrell Williams is among the collaborators committed to work on what will be her fifth album.
“I’m at the very very beginning stages of the record. We’re at the point now where we are all talking — writers [and] producers — we’re all excited. There are fresh ideas coming into the studio right now. We’re trying different beats,” Rowland told Billboard. “It’s a really great start.”
She’s also due to appear on the Pepsi-curated “Beats of the Beautiful Game” project, which will be released June 10 to celebrate the World Cup.
