Blanka Introduction
Another iconic World Warrior from Street Fighter II, Blanka is back with his rolling attacks and his electric charge. In fact, he seems to be more deadly than ever, with a few new gimmicks and the chance to mix his rolls more freely.
Blanka is a charge character, meaning that you’ll need to charge some of his special moves before being able to do them. He might not have a projectile, but his different rolling attacks go through the screen in multiple directions, letting you reach your opponent and close the space pretty powerfully.

Blanka Best Tips
Blanka has a great slide attack. Down HP covers a lot of space and can surprise an opponent that wasn’t blocking while crouching. Plus, if you perform this move after a DR, Blanka can cover even more terrain and in less time.
For the first time, Blanka has a special gimmick that involves some dolls that look like mini-Blankas. You start each round with three, and you can’t use recover them until your next round. To use them, press Down, Down with any Punch, and then use Electric Thunder (QCB + P) near them. This will activate the dolls, which will run toward your opponent.
You can perform Vertical Rolling Attack (Down Charge, Forward + K) twice in a roll by doing the Heavy version first and then the OD one. You need to start charging Down as soon as you’re in the air after the first Vertical Rolling Attack.
Blanka can cancel a Rolling Attack into a Super Art 2 (Lightning Beast, QCBx2+ P). You need to be precise and press the input when you hit the enemy with the cannonball.
Lightning Beast can very powerful when you know what to do. For example, you can activate it, do an OD Vertical Rolling Attack, and then chain three extra cannonball attacks just by pressing a direction and a punch attack.
